Community Integrated Living Arrangement Services (CILA)

More than 250 individuals call Progressive Careers & Housing their home.  Each home is located in a pleasant neighborhood setting, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.   We understand the importance of knowing that you are a part of a community and have a sense of belonging.  Our CILA homes offer a variety of housing options as well as comprehensive services to encourage individuals to grow and further their independence. Direct service professionals (DSP) provide supportive 24 hour supervision while qualified intellectual and developmental professionals (QIDP) provide individualized programming.

CILA Homes

  • 4 to 8 individuals live in the homes
  • Ages from 18 years and up
  • Activity rich, person centered planning
  • Nursing Services
  • BCBA Services
  • Licensed by the Illinois Department of Human Services

 

Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF)

Our ICF homes are residence to many individuals who are proud to call Progressive Careers & Housing Home.  The ICF homes are located in quaint suburban neighborhoods throughout central and southern Illinois.  Our ICF homes offer specialized nursing services in addition to comprehensive case management services.

Direct service professionals (DSP) provide supportive 24 hour supervision while qualified intellectual and developmental professionals (QIDP) provide individualized programming.

ICF Homes

  • 16 or less individuals live in the homes
  • Ages from 18 years and up
  • Activity rich, person centered planning
  • Nursing Services
  • BCBA Services
  • Licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health

 

Developmental Training Services (DT)

We offer day services in Northern Illinois that provides on the job training, career exploration, and skill development that focuses on each individual. We offer employment opportunities for individuals within our agency through our janitorial and receptionist programs. We offer volunteer opportunities partnering with community businesses to empower our individuals to share their talents and give back to the local community. These training programs provide people with developmental disabilities a way to foster social inclusion, personal contribution, and individualized growth.

Our developmental training program is located in Northern Illinois in Steger.
